2005 was a happy yet a challenging year for me. it was a year full of pressure and pleasure as well.
let's do a recap of the whole year shall we? :p
january...the hell with the prom preparations. haha. gown fitting, "date-asking" (?), false diets...aww, i guess one will never be a certified "teenager" unless she undergoes these stuff. one thing's for sure though...im glad im through with it. :p
feb...THE month. prom. it's an event which is both a privilege AND a drawback for third year students. pros? it's fun dressing up, getting yourself all dolled up once in a while. cons? GASTOS, man. nakakaawa ang mga magulang. haha. basta. pressure talaga. after-prom gimmicks are better ;)
march...the deadliest month to all juniors. deadlines will be waving at your sleep-deprived self everyday. it's also the month where crucial decisions are made. expert guides or lsc? haha.
april...ooh, i remember being so giddy and excited upon hearing THE good news. tina's homecoming (YES NAMAN. HAHA) is probably one of the best things that happened last year. :)
may...super nilulubos ang gimmicks before magstart ang school. review classes=fun times. discovered the roots of my "anti-socialness" (diba review friends?). bangkok trip? a "heavenly" experience.
june...movie trips at eastwood started to excite me every wednesday. met bayanihan06 :) started to "adjust" to the demands of senior life. ms. 0, mrs ben and ms toli? pretty self-explanatory.;)
july...my fetish for people who belong to a "voice band", sings bass1 for that certain band, is 8 years older than me, who's about 5'6 and overly health conscious started to "flourish". HAHA. that was also the month when i met that person in the flesh! whee:) i remember acting like an idiot and being aloof to him that night. ugh. stupid nina. oh well. at least i managed to make a conversation with him. nakakawindang. july27? definitely memorable.
august...UPCAT. my first entrance test ever. HAHA. gradpic taking din. frequent trips with my fartner to eastwood made up for the stressful days in school.
september...second time. :) i went home around 1 or 2am on a school night because of the tavern gig. whee. harana, harana, harana. he didn't smoke because we were there. haha. found out more about that psycho. hmm what else? ahh, fine dining. ACET. *still crossing my fingers*
october...beginning to hate accounting. dlsu-cet and ustet. confused over weird emo stuff.
november...batch camping. lovin sixtreme;) tin can boat making. experienced being a basurera/nanny for a day. saw a naked person walking along the convergy's area. ua&p test. still confused over emo stuff. last movie trip with moobie fartner. :(
december...first time to celebrate christmas without sary and danielle. first time to celebrate christmas without a turkey. first time to cry on christmas day. oh well. there really is a first time for everything. however, december is not at all a sour month for me...spotlight practices, my birthday, and yes, even the school fair made up for it. ugh. 15 minutes ago, i was reminiscing with bea s about the spotlight practices. we even made a list of what we will miss--the school gym, waiting at the "airport", seeing the teachers dance at the podium, mr and mrs ben, fi's hirits, laugh trips and even the times when we were at our lowest low because of..haha. if there's anything good about december (aside from the assurance that i have a university to go to), it would definitely be spotlight and all the practices (good or bad), company calls (1 or three pages) and what-not that go with it.
2005 started with so much gusto and blessings.
why did it end like this? :(
